Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

1. What this service is

Milano Cerco Affitto aggregates publicly posted rental listings from Facebook groups and, separately, lets registered members publish their own posts. We are not an estate agent, not a party to any rental agreement, and we do not verify listings, members, or the accuracy of anything published here.

2. Member posts

Registered members with a verified email address may publish two kinds of post: offering a place to rent, or seeking one. These are kept separate from scraped listings and are labelled as member content wherever they appear.

By posting, you confirm that:

Contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, social handles) are automatically removed from post text. This is deliberate: it protects you from having your contact details harvested, and interested members can reach you through the in-app inbox instead.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every post carries a Report action. A reported post is hidden from the feed immediately, pending review, and we aim to review reports within 24 hours. Posts that breach these terms are removed, and accounts that repeatedly breach them are suspended.

You can also block any member. Blocking hides that member's posts from you and prevents contact in both directions.

4. Your content remains yours

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within this service for as long as the post is live. Posts expire automatically after 30 days, and you can delete yours at any time. Deleting your account removes your posts.

5. No warranty, no liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not verify listings or members. Always view a property in person and never send money before doing so. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses, damages, or fraud arising from content published here, whether scraped or posted by a member.

6. Reporting and contact

Use the Report action on any post, or email [email protected]. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in your inbox. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
